Matters to be Considered in the Boiler Operation
Never turn on the boiler when there is no water in it.
- Do not get into your boiler while it is operating, and do not put your head or hands into it.
- Make sure that the flaps in the smoke ducts of the boiler are in the open position.
- Poor chimney draught reduces the efficiency of the boiler and harms the environment and health.
- For a good combustion, flue and flue gas lining must be open.
- Flue, flue gas lining and chimney connections must be impermeable.
- While the boiler is operating; boiler covers, flue lining covers and chimney covers should never be opened.
- Boiler covers must not be opened while the burner is operating.
- Combustion volume should be checked before the boiler and burner are activated, and it should be ensured that there is no flammable-explosive material inside.
- The boiler should be checked continuously while it is operating.
- The settings of the boiler explosion cover should not be changed. Explosion cover should be such that it can be opened easily and should not be blocked.
- Explosive materials should not be thrown into the boiler.
- For an efficient combustion, the fuel must burn with sufficient oxygen. Do not overload the combustion volume with fuel.
- Turn off the steam outlet so that the boiler does not become dehydrated in case of power cuts while the boiler is operating. In solid fuel mobile grill boilers, coal must be discharged and the boiler should be cooled by opening the bottom covers.
- The fuel valves of the deactivated burners should be closed.
- When it is understood that the boiler is dehydrated, water should not be supplied to the boiler suddenly. It should be waited for the boiler to cool down and water should be given little by little after the boiler has cooled down.
- When it is understood that there is a hole or leak in the boiler, the boiler should be cooled and the feed water should not be turned off. After the boiler has cooled down, the feed water must be turned off.
