Degasifier

It is used to take CO2 AND O2 in the water and to prevent corrosion in the system. It is also referred to as mechanical deaeration or thermal degassing. Dissolved oxygen in the water must be removed before the feed water enters the boiler. Deaerating the feed water is the removal of dissolved oxygen by heating the water with steam heat in the deaerator heater. The temperature of the water, the solubility of oxygen in water is brought to a minimum of 102°C and 0.2bar. Thus, oxygen gas and carbon dioxide, which cannot be dissolved in water, are discharged out of the deaerator through a steam opening.

Total hardness: 0 Fr.

Conductivity(max): up to 6500 μS/cm. (2500 μS/cm in systems with RO)
