Boiler Maintenance

Daily Maintenance

- Water level indicators should be checked and bluffing should be done at least once per shift.

- The operation of boiler water level devices or feeding devices should be checked.

-  If the boiler bottom blowdown is manual, it should be done at least once per shift, if it is automatic, its operation should be checked.

- Boiler water values should be checked at least twice in every shift.

- The operation of the feed water system, condensate and deaerator tanks, level devices and pumps should be checked. The manometers and thermometers of the pumps should be checked.- Duman yolu, gaz yolu ve katı yakıtlı kazanlarda kömür- kül akış sistemleri sürekli kontrol altında tutulmalıdır.

Monthly Maintenance

- Safety valves should be checked

- Pump suction filters should be checked.

- Burner and safety systems should be checked.

- Operation of boiler water level devices should be checked.

-  Fuel line should be checked.

- The chimney should be cleaned.

- Steam and water lines should be tested and necessary sealing should be provided.

- The electrical panel should be checked, it should be ensured that the safety switches are working.

- Boiler covers should be opened, gaskets should be checked and those that need to be changed should be changed.

- Combustion cell refractory should be checked.

Annual maintenance

- The boiler water should be completely drained and the inside of the boiler should be checked by opening the hand and man covers.

- Pipe wall thicknesses should be checked with the device.

- Smoke ducts should be checked.

- Pumps should be maintained.

-  Fans should be maintained.

- The burner should be maintained.

- After all the controls, a PERIODIC CONTROL should be made by the authorized institution, which is mandatory.
